Why be a lawyer? A Memoir---- If the Almighty ever decides to return me to earth after my parting, the only occupation that I would desire would be a duly licensed attorney at law in the State of New York. I always believed that the best fighters who made the most progress for mankind were individuals who fought with their minds. I find no fault with individuals who earn large amounts of money and live their lives the way they would like to live them, but I find there is more reward and satisfaction in accomplishing something meaningful for a human being. I love the law. I handle myself with honesty, integrity and morality at all times. As I think about my life and career, I cannot pinpoint what I would have been doing professionally or otherwise if I had not become an attorney. I may have gone into real estate or the financial world, though how successful I might have been is speculative.
